This photograph was taken one cold New Years Eve early morning in Times Square, New York City. Amongst all the bright lights & buzz surrounding me, I was intrigued by this composition of a deciduous tree in the foreground of what was an extremely large flashing neon sign. Concentrating only on a small part of the bigger picture to emphasize the contrasting elements at work.
