It’s with great excitement and honour that it will now be shown at Gallery 50, Toronto for this years Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival 2017. Thank you must also go to Kerri-Ann for all her help and selfless time in helping to organize this.
The exhibition is a culmination, if you like,of the many years I have been traveling around the globe with my film Camera in hand. There is a recurring theme that has caught my eye and that is my fascination with people captured in their everyday surroundings but more importantly the interaction they have with their environment and the “negative space”
We are all subjected to in someway and distracted by the often chaotic and busyness of life, through “Enchanted Encounters” I was more interested in trying to convey to the viewer a sense of balance, harmony and simplicity, which are important components to my compositions.
